The HSE is developing a new model of care for trans healthcare services in Ireland. The new model will set out how trans healthcare services should be delivered, by who, and in what settings.
To do that, the HSE needs to hear from trans people, parents/carers of trans young people, and trans community groups about our experiences in healthcare, and what we want and need from new services. They will do that through this survey, and through a small number of focus groups.
This is the biggest opportunity we have had in a long time to shape trans healthcare services and build a better future for trans people in Ireland.
The survey is open to all trans people over 16, and to the parents or carers of trans people under 16.
The survey is open until 5pm on Friday 21st August. The link to express interest in a focus group is at the end of the individual survey.
