Prime Time Airs Segment 'Young and Transgender'
Prime Time, a current affairs programme on RTÉ One, aired a segment on trans young people in Ireland on 23 February 2017.
Richard Downes and Sallyanne Godson reported on the increase in young people coming out as transgender and transitioning. TENI's Family Support and Education Officer Catherine Cross was interviewed alongside her son Lucas, a trans man. Kirsty Donohue, a parent of a trans young person, also shared her experience. The segment included contributions from medical professionals such as Dr Aileen Murtagh.
