Non-Binary Community Priorities Survey
TENI with the help of non-binary community activists are running a survey to find out more about non-binary people in Ireland, their priorities and the issues they want to see addressed most urgently.
Please take our survey.
There is very little research in Ireland about the needs of non-binary people and we want to change that. The best way to do this is by asking you what is important to you as a non-binary person. By answering this survey, you will help inform the work that we do to promote rights, access to services and legal recognition.
The survey takes between 5 and 15 minutes to complete and is anonymous and confidential. Your personal information remains entirely private and safe.

What does non-binary mean?
Non-Binary means identifying as either having a gender which is in between or beyond the two categories ‘man’ and ‘woman’, as fluctuating between 'man', 'woman' or other genders, or as having no gender, either permanently or some of the time. If this describes you, please take our survey.
Who designed the survey?
The survey was designed by the Non-Binary Organising Committee, a group of non-binary activists convened by TENI from across Ireland. We also sought inspiration from the Scottish Transgender Alliance who published excellent research in 2016.
What will happen next?
The results of this survey will help inform and influence the work of TENI and other groups supporting non-binary people. The Non-binary Organising Committee is planning additional in-depth surveys on specific issues which will be released in the coming months. But first we need to hear from you.
