Join us for TENI's General Assembly
TENI's General Assembly will take place on Saturday 8th October from 5-7pm at the Chocolate Factory.
This is an exciting moment for trans rights in Ireland. TENI has accomplished a great deal in a short period of time but there is still a lot of work to do. The General Assembly is an important opportunity for us as an organisation to reflect on the work that we have done and look forward to the future. Member engagement is an important part of this process and your feedback and input is vital.
What Happens at the General Assembly?
- Elect new members of the Board of Directors of TENI Ltd.
- Launch of Activity Report.
- Update from Chief Executive and Board on TENI's Programme of work.
- Opportunity for members to offer feedback on the work that we have done to date and our future actions and directions.
Should a member wish to make a proposal for consideration at the General Assembly it needs to be submitted in writing to the Chair (sara@teni.ie) seven days in advance of the General Assembly.
Board of Directors
TENI is seeking applications for our Board of Directors. For more information, please go here. The deadline for applications is 23rd September at 5pm.
You must be a fully paid up member of TENI to be a Board member. Anyone who has renewed their membership between 1st September 2015 and 30th June 2016 qualifies to join the Board and vote at the Assembly. If you are not a member of TENI, you are welcome to attend the General Assembly but participation is limited.
Candidate bios will be available on the TENI website as of 24th September.
Online Voting
We hope you will be able to join us at the General Assembly. However, we know that some people will not be able to attend. If you have a paid up membership you are eligible to cast your vote online for TENI Board members. Online voting opens on Thursday 29th September at 1pm and closes onThursday 6th October at 1pm.
