You and your family are invited to join us at our 2nd TransParenCi Picnic in The Park 2017! If you are interested in attending, please email Susan via transparencigroup@gmail.com.
Bring walking shoes, walking gear, bikes, rain gear, football, frisbee, waterguns. Bring your own food and drinks to the BBQ! BBQ sites available, so if wanted, bring your own grill, Charcoal Briquettes, matches, tongs, grilling gloves, pans, utensils, plates, cutlery, washup bowls, T-Towels.
If you'd like to camp, booking is required via http://www.curraghchase.info/.
Access to the park is via a barrier system, advanced booking is required if you are camping. The carpark fee is 5 € (1€ coins) and is nonrefundable. 24hr security, scenic walking and cycling trails, two playgrounds, De Vere Café on site, Campers kitchen and free showers.
15min drive to Limerick city and/or 10min drive to Adare

This groups is aimed at spouses,or long term partners, of people who have recently revealed they are LGBT. The group has been running for over 2 years and is facilitated by trained facilitators from the LGBT Helpline.

IndividualiTy is a social group for young trans people and those questioning their gender identity. It aims to provide a safe, positive and fun space where trans youth can relax, be themselves and make friends. IndividualiTy meets every second Wednesday and is open to young trans-identified people aged 14 to 23.

TransParenCI is a peer support group for parents and family members of trans people. Transformers is a peer support group for trans young people whose parents attend TransParenCI. Both groups run simultaneously but are facilitated in separate spaces.

The Dublin Trans Peer Support Group started in April 2005 and is the longest running group in Ireland. The group meets every first and third Wednesday of the month. It provides an inclusive and supportive environment for those who are exploring their gender or who are transitioning.

Gender Blender's intention is to be a comfortable space for Waterford and the surrounding area's gender-expansive youth, aged 14-21, to discover themselves and bond with other people under the trans umbrella.
