10-11 October Trans experiences receive star treatment as part of the 2011 Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival. Gardenia will be performed by one of the most influential dance theatre companies in the world, led by award winning director Alain Platel.
Gardenia sees 6 ordinary middle-aged men working as civil servants, nurses and office clerks... who are also cross-dressers, divas, singers and show-women.
Flamboyant, defiant, hilarious, poignant: this promises to be an energetic mix of song, dance, theatre and cabaret.
