TENI's General Assembly will take place on Saturday 3rd October at the Chocolate Factory.

This is an exciting moment for trans rights in Ireland. TENI has accomplished a great deal in a short period of time but there is still a lot of work to do. The General Assembly is an important opportunity for us as an organisation to reflect on the work that we have done and look forward to the future.

Member engagement is an important part of this process and your feedback and input is vital.

What Happens at the General Assembly?

•  Elect new members of the Board of Directors of TENI Ltd.
•  Launch of Annual Report.
•  Update from Chief Executive and Board on TENI's Programme of work.
•  Opportunity for members to offer feedback on the work that we have done to date and our future actions and directions.

Should a member wish to make a proposal for consideration at the General Assembly it needs to be submitted in writing to the Chair (sara@teni.ie). The deadline for proposals has been extended to Wednesday 30th September.

The format of the General Assembly is as follows:

5pm                   Registration; time for reading TENI's Activity Report 2015

5.15pm              Welcome by TENI Chairperson

5.25pm              Board vote

5.45pm              Launch of the Activity Report & Discussion of 2015 activities

6.45pm              Board election results and ratification

7pm                   -- End --

Membership

All previous TENI memberships expired on August 31st 2015. To participate and vote at the General Assembly, you must renew your membership.We are moving to a calendar year for membership so your membership will now be valid until December 31st 2016.

*Please note that new membership will temporarily close on September 26th and re-open after the General Assembly. This is part of our Governance regulations.*

Board of Directors

TENI is seeking applications for our Board of Directors. For more information, please go here. The deadline for applications is September 21st at 5pm.

Candidate bios will be available on the TENI website as of September 24th.

Online Voting

We hope you will be able to join us at the General Assembly. However, we know that some people will not be able to attend. If you have a paid up membership you are eligible to cast your vote online for TENI Board members. Online voting opens on Friday September 25th at 1pm and closes on Friday October 2nd at 1pm.
